Suffragets organization started ballooning in number, in membership. Now experienced organizers had the numbers they needed to put effective pressure on politicians and other influential people. They did this using the full spectrum of pressure and p r tactics, from traditional lobbying to picketing,. parades, mass meetings, posters, parties, advertisements, hunger strikes and civil disobedience.
