Netflix Announces Automatic Canceling of Subscriptions

Netflix just announced that if you have a subscription to Netflix for 12 months or more and you haven't used it they will automatically cancel it. What are the ethics of a company that gets somebody into a subscription service and then doesn't use it but also doesn't turn it off? "There are still a lot of bad actors out there who hide the cancel button"
