The Unintended Consequences of Too Much Anaerobic Training
The unintended consequence of too much anaerobic training is that you're actually training your body to be more reliant on carbohydrates at all intensities. You get to the end of a race, if you're too well, anaerobically trained and you've got nothing left. For most people once a week for several months is probably enough to be a problem. It doesn't necessarily mean that doing a lot of them is going to be better just because they're hard.
