The Benefits of Sissy Squats

If you're doing a regular squat, your lower leg only tilts from the neutral vertical position by about 30 degrees. So when we're doing the cable squat, that cable is perpendicular to your lower leg and you're getting 100%. You'll load each of your quadriceps with 1200 pounds of resistance. That is more stimulation for growth, period. It doesn't matter that you're not using as much weight on your back. What matters is what the low, what the quadricep is experiencing.
