What Got You Into Carbohydrate During Exercise?

I think for Steph and I coming through in the 2000s, it was very much the work that you guys were doing at Birmingham. You did a whole series of studies on carbohydrate during exercise from sort of the mid 1990s to the mid 2010s. And what we try to do is really tell a story and address all the questions that we had. Some were more fundamental questions, like how does this work? Others were like more practical questions,. Like how much and how and a lot of the questions came from practice listening to athletes.
