The Importance of Self-Compassion
Self-compassion is a tool that's been really helpful for me in this. I have found, and again this is possibly delusion, that if I was to try to pack my work week into 40 hours, I wouldn't be able to get what I need. Sometimes we want to be outside on a lovely Tuesday afternoon doing something that doesn't particularly look like work. And also many of us like our work. There's nothing inherently bad about work. If you're feeling burnt out? Are you feeling overwhelmed? That's a sign that you need to put something else in your life,. some sort of leisure or break or whatever else will help you get back on track.
