The Problems With Organizational Organizational Structures for Product Development
In the Cine to Baldis, we did a bit of reverse engineering of what's actually going on there because Amazon talked about it, but not in terms that we were interested in exploring. The starting point is really that software needs ongoing care and maintenance. We're giving these people in the streamline team the context of what's happening in the live environment. And so, this model has been proven out by organizations like Amazon for nearly 20 years, and it has not stopped Amazon from growing to massive scale. But clearly, that has a limit, which we might talk about as well with other things that we put in place to deal with that limitation or realization.
