The Importance of Balance in the Treatment of Tuberculosis
Most people with tuberculosis will become ill within a couple of years after being infected. Risk factors for becoming ill are things like malnutrition, having a really severe immunocompromising condition or untreated HIV. I do think that we need to consider why it is that we are able in the rich world to live with such a low burden of tuberculosis while other communities are not able to do that.
