Is It Better to Be Explanatory About Bias?

In private conversation, i tend think it's better to be explicit about the things that might be biasing you or your pre prior commitments. But making that plicit kind of weakens their ability to try to live up to the unbiased standard. Even if the judges said openly, of course we're biased, but that's bad. And we're trying very hard to root those biases out. We have blind grating to t help deal with that kind of problem. It still would be different to announce that to all your students on the sa.
