The Misnomer of the Smart Home

The smart home is a misnomer because it's just the natural evolution of our homes. You don't need to buy every single gadget and make sure you have everything working in your house. There does come a time where you go from one thing that connects to the internet, like I have a garage door opener with an app on my phone. And then once you get to something like critical mass, you may want to start making them all work together.
