Some people get fat through a process called hyperplasia. They don't become insulin resistant and their insulin levels stay quite modest. However, on the other side where the majority of people fall, their number of fat cells is set. The strategy has to be to take that big hypertrophic fat cell and shrink it. And you can shrink it through two different ways: Low energy and low insulin or or low insulin.
