Conjunction Reduction Rules in English
In English, the subject can be dropped and is assumed to be with. This is one of the reasons English uses the passive. The man walked into the barn and got kicked by a horse. It gets hairier when you have a transiver to argument verb in the first clause. And there are a small number of languages on the planet that just hate conjunction reduction and will always repeat pronouns. Even if the language isn't necessarily conjugated. I think some languages of Papua New Guinea in particular tend not to go in for conjunction reduction but it pops up randomly around the planet.
