The Denial of Death

Becker's book The Denial of Death would win the Pulitzer Prize. Becker changed jobs four times in six years, and got colon cancer before he could get fired from the fifth. His argument is that we are all aware on some level that our physical self will eventually die. He says its inevitability scares the shit out of us.
