The History of Probability and Statistics

The history of probability and the mathematics therein was intertwined with gambling from the earliest days. There are historically been a divide, you know, of two schools of thought on probability. It's not until you put something kind of, put something real behind it until it has real consequences that you can really give meaning to these probability statements.
