Running for a Marathon
If you're comfortable running 50 or 60 miles a week, your going to have a much easier time in the marathon than if you never run more than forty miles a week. There are swim runs you can do that don't have bikings. I make sure people know that the easy days, the off days, the rest days, are there for a reason and that there's no one workout that makes or breaks everything. And it's not that every single week has to be or faster or longer than the week before. You've got to mix it up. Some days are faster, some days are slower. Some dimes are longer, some days are shorter. Foll thing.
