There's other approaches to dietary fiber using different fibers that aren't as viscous or sludgy and that are a lot more palatable. Other fibers that I think are most exciting are one resistant starch and two big glucan. And that might make it more accessible and palatable to people to consume fiber beyond whole foods, which at the end of the day is the best way to go.
