A new species is introduced to Hawaii every eight days. Mongoose are good at killing other things, including our native birds. You can't find a chicken on another island on the side of the road and you can drive on Kawaii and see a thousand chickens in 30 minutes. There were very few invasive species projects that are successful in Hawaii period.
