How Does Sleep Deprivation Affect Your Emotional Reactivity?

The emotional brain is more than 60% amplified in terms of its reactivity to negative experiences without a night of sleep. We can dial sleep down and take it away with deprivation, and see if you can trigger an amplified emotional reaction from the brain as a consequence. And then you can give sleep back, instead of die it up. Maybe even insert sleep where it normally wouldn't be by using a nap during the day to cause some of this nice palliative amelioration of emotionary activity.
