Creative people get emotionally attached to the work they create. Because of this innate feeling, I'm put on this earth to do this. This is my gift. I must do this. We invest little pieces of ourselves as creative people into the work that we create. It's really hard for us to negotiate because part of what we're selling, it contains us.
