Too much rigidity is the enemy of a good habit so i think that's really important to remember and then you also talked about how tracking especially when you're aiming for streaks which i think you were doing with your Spanish can really facilitate the habit building yeah absolutely. If there's something you're afraid to lose your streak if you're tracking yourself and you see something that you want to hold on to that can be motivating because the losses loom very large. So that seems like there's some potential there to use that as another tool it's a gamification strategy and it can work for some of us to keep us on track and make us want to keep going.
