Is There a Non-Responder to Resistance Exercise Training?
There's certainly diminishing returns beyond a certain point. I think that people who demonstrate really robust strength responses to training can be a proxy for somebody who is likely to respond in many, many other ways. The converse situation where somebody might be doing more but getting less of an impact is an interesting scenario. If their goals are be it muscular hypertrophy or strength development or if their primary goal is health and lowering their blood pressure then definitely that's room for more experimentation.
