The skin, like everything we say about the skin. She just wants us to leave her. If you throw a product that is slightly basic on the skin takes about an hour and she's right back to baseline without our help. My personal favorite stupid is moisturizer makes your skin lazy. So I'm always fascinated how like skin somehow has been anthropomorphized into either this genius of technology that is the greatest thing ever or just the ultimate moron Depending on what story you're telling.
