The Pacing Rule of Thumb

Pacing isn't always about running a constant speed or the perfect division all the way through. Great pacing might be hiking the hill. It's about regulating your entire speed and effort through the day to maximize where you can, so that you can run efficiently from start to finish. If i hadn't just, unow, if i had been, you know, just rigidly tied to some goal pace, or if i didn'to just refuse to listen to my body, i could have made a small problem into a big one.
