Aristotle's Views on Substance

Aristotle's account of substance is much simpler than the one we find in the metaphysics. The categories seem to be the most general classes of predication. Predicat ons of substance tell you what kind of being you are dealing with. Aristotle holds that without beautiful things, there is no such thing as beauty.
