Is Resistance Training Sufficient for Maximizing Health?

Bodybuilding training basically and has a relatively high step count outside of the gym is that sufficient for maximizing health? Is there a way i'm just thinking this is my bias so someone who is working with relatively high volumes high intensities need to consider as well or if i want to maximize health outcomes and maybe not take away from my resistance training or bodybuilding outcomes i should be doing cardio as well.
