What Is a Radial?

A radical is an unpaired electron. Electrons like to be paired up, right? And they kind of counterbalance each other out. They're much more stable when they come in twos. If there's only one electron, then it starts wreaking havoc. Also why it's called a radical. A radical reactions work in three steps. The propagation step is where the radical will go find a non radical molecule and it will scavenge sort of it will steal an electron and make a bond with that.
