Is There Discrimination in the Market?

I'm almost certain that there was a 10 or 20 year period where you published more papers in the top economic journals than anyone else. It didn't seem to me like what you really cared about was changing the world, solving the big problems. But somewhere along the way, I sent to that changed. And now anyone who spends any time with you at all will recognize that you're focused on having a real world impact on living a legacy.
