Italian American Cuisine in New York
I think that Italian American cuisine does not get the respect that it really deserves to this day. There is no equivalent of Don Pepe's in Los Angeles and there's no Emilio's Balochto. Providence has its share, right? New Haven. But New York does it so well and it's still, I think, not really taken seriously.
