People in anxiety program report being able to write out full blown panic attacks. When they notice the feeling of panic or anxiety, they could flip it from i to an organism that is anxious. This person was able to hack into her brain, literally, to have an anxiety be replaced by curiosity. By whatever you want to call this, de personalization, or shifting the perspective from i'm i am to i am part of seems is what's happening whenever people have that experience.
