"I've been to 12 coaches. There's something they just can't figure it out," he says. "If you said to me, my swing right now is 100 miles an hour, I'll be like, well, hell, that's way stronger than I think your lower body is capable of doing." He tests players' strength and power by taking their vertical jump divided by the average PGA tour club speed. If a player cannot lift 50 pounds in each arm, there may be a serious problem with his or her fitness.
