How Do You Deal With Editors?
We think that the whole fielda scientific publishing, a science academia, you have to go way, way up stream about publisher parish issues. The problem is that if you only focus on down stream its, it's sort of like, you know, only worrying about sewage as it's beo pumped and then or throwing trash into the riverway up stream. And so if we're not thinking about all o these various sort of points at which we could intercede and clean up the riverthe then it's almost inevitable that even well intentioned editors will make mistakes.
