We think about advertising sometimes as reminding us to buy a product or service. If you're thinking about something, you're much more likely to buy it. The maker of kit cat was trying to figue out why people weren't buying the candy they made for halloween. Kit cat and coffee, best friends foreverd whut it did was something really interesting. Rather than having to pay to show people that reminder, they linked themselves to something in environment. And everything that thing in the environment came up, it reminded them of the product or serviceand is what's called a trigger. It's a reminder in the environment, something that triggers us to think about something that isn't there
