The Effects of Light Load Training on Muscular Endurance

The hypertrophy really, again, isn't changing between the two groups. We're not accelerating the rate of hypertrophy that we're developing as a result of those light load training exercises producing greater improvements in muscular endurance. And they also increase the amount of volume load to a greater extent over a training program. So basically we do the light loads and we're going to end up being able to do much more volume load than we were at the beginning because of the muscular endurance effects.
