I do think there's some massive, almost quick wins for manipulators. The two colour counters with directed number just blew my mind on how easy it is to teach the whole of directed number without saying two negatives make a positive and muttering that immortal phrase. Two nakes make a positive regardless of what context they use. And it's really powerful. So maybe if we saw something like that, one of the really super, sort of obvious super duper uses of manipulators, that might convince them a little bit. I don't know, though. But they're really cheap as well to account as to be fair.
