How to Increase Running Time

If i was going to run a marathon I would use weight sleds and do intervals maybe four intervals of 30 minutes all right. Then i would try to increase the interval up to 35 minutes and reduce the rest time in between. Keep records with three different weights maybe 25 pounds 45 pounds and 65 pounds keep records with those weights because once you are able to break your records  you should certainly be able to break the records in normal running.
