Is It a Question of the Institution or the Individual?
Anges: It's a huge issue in the whole of the republic whether what we are supposed to focus on is the institutional question of justice. What happens after simachus bows out, pretty much is that the question gets recast as a question about what it would be to be just if you were an individual. Mmcab: The challenge is to show that no matter how successful the unjust person might be in his or her life, the just person is always going to be better off.
