The Importance of Being Genetically Involved
There's a potential for fundamental attribution here there where you're like, well, I got these things from my parents. How do you know it's not genetics related to your parents? One really interesting group of studies in this regard is they take people who are siblings to each other and also have an adopted sibling. Adopted siblings are no more similar to their parents that raise them, basically their entire lives, unrelated parents than they are to any random group of parents you select from a general population.
