Is There a Universal Reward Hierarchy in People's Brains?

In a study with several hundred people, basically english speaking, that was basically all we required people to do. We found that nearly universally, i, you know, with high level of of a f agreement, people reported things like anxiety and frustration anger as closed or contracted. And when we linked up those, those those states, it was the open states that all felt much more rewarding than the close state. There is a natural reward hierarchy in our brain that says, hey,  when given a choice between anxiety and curiosity, please pass the curiosity. It's a no brainor curiosity feels better than anxiety. So here we're starting to see the modern science line up with the ancient
