Gymnasts are probably a perfect example they do ridiculous amounts of plymetric loading on a daily basis and yet we say we need to give our tendon time to respond. If i add in too much extra loading to a system that already has essentially been overloaded i have to question what is the true value of that specific exercise. For this particular athlete we did some very very simple work in that she did two or three exercises that were particularly designed to just switch her rotator cuff on before she trained.
