The Role of Nutrition in Body Composition Periodization
Dr. James Morton: I was working on a draft review paper that'll come out in the coming months and on a nutrition periodization framework. We're going to try and develop a macro, a mezzo and a micro framework to allow professionals in this field to ask the right types of questions. The way this project came about, it was something in the back of my head as an intervention, probably starting 10, 15 years ago. My wife's an international level middle distance athlete. She had probably 60 or 80 anthro measurements over a nine-year career. And so it was pretty easy to retrospectively go back and analyze her fluctuations.
