The Benefits of Passive Parenting in a Modern Society

In hunter-gatherer societies, babies are carried passively as mothers go on about their hunting and gathering. This allows for a diaperless world in which you're not constantly running into terrible things because the baby subtly lets its mother know it needs to go. This becomes impossible in a modern society where elevators and offices and sidewalks and all sorts of things result in us making the very terrible choice to effectively tape the feces to the baby. So if a baby would naturally be in touch with its own need to excrete things, and then it loses touch with it - we have to re-teach them these things, which is an unnatural and broken mechanism. It's a fun for no one
