There's a time that you're allowed to play the high notes while someone holds down the bass. I'll just be honest, I feel a tremendous fucking amount of shame for the gifts that I have. Rest, joy, those emotions are something to be earned and there's a finite time around them. And it feels like it steals from those who have less is a huge thing that I really am feeling coming up right now. But some things in the world felt like pies, and some things are pies. You can lose connection with the things that aren't pies, the things that grow as you receive more of them.
