Thai Pronouns and the Orthography
The variety of ties spoken by Thai men and Thai women can be pretty radically different. The spelling system or the orthography is an in-dick influenced abugita system but one that was borrowed at a time when the thai language had a simpler tone system so what's happened over the centuries is that they've had to use a bunch of different consonants, he says.
