Instead of highlighting all the benefits of changing for the self, what if we focus more on the benefits to others? Todd Rogers: Most treatment effects don't persist, and sometimes they do, and when they do we have no idea why. David Labson: The web offers instant gratification that undermines our very good intentions to get the most out of class. Wendy Wood: We're really good at changing people's knowledge and beliefs but not so good at changing long term behaviour.
