Anti-Nephrin Antibodies in Kidney Transplants

All three biopsies showed basically what we see in recurrent FSGS, which is a really minimal change disease. The problem with this patient is we didn't have pre-transplant serum and we needed to make sure it comes from the naive person that hadn't seen a transplant yet. So we collected her serum when she had her kidney explanted, you know, because it was, she had to let go. And we took her serum and she was high positive for anti-nephrin antibody circulating. But we couldn't use that patient for our paper because of all these other lack of data we had pre- Transplant.
