We often self sabotage without realizing it is when we're surrounded by people in our lives who aren't necessarily supporting our goals and what we actually want. I don't think that I think this goes well beyond somebody not supporting your goals. This is about people who are actually invalidating somebody else right confusing them devaluing them you know leaving them or saying to them that you are less than chronically criticizing them. And so the kind of work I do with folks is to say when something is toxic enough and it has been consistently for a long time, and nothing you're doing is changing it,. That there really has to be some level of radical acceptance that this isn’t going to shift expectations
