Flow Cytometry
Flow cytometry is basically us looking at the penotype of the cell. Most of the time this is done with florescently labelled anna bodies, which are the same as your immune protein. Anna bodies specific to certain markers on the outside of the cells. These are our cluster differentiation, or c d proteins that we talk about. And those are labelled with separate colors that are able to be detected by specific detectors inside the machine when they 're hit by a specific frequency of light.
