Race for the Galaxy: A Challenge for Digital Board Games

The role for the galaxy beta is out right now, and we actually just dropped the tutorial in there today. Digital board games are in such a like tough spot because people who play digital games are used to things like Mario or video games where you learn how to jump. So with Race for the Galaxy, Patrick Benjamin, our teammate teamed up with Tom Lehman, the designer of the game, and together they crafted this series of missions. The challenge is always making everything as brief as possible, while including all the information needed. It's a tall order.
