Aristotle's Women and Slavery

Aristotle's views on women and slavery hang together with more attractive views he holds on other topics. Aristotle agrees, remarking, for instance, that every one who lives in asia is a natural slave. When aristotle comes to discuss his vision of the ideal political arrangement, we find the same ideas in play. He doesn't real get around to this until book seven. The last two books are almost like a miniature version of the republic.
