The Problem With the Anti-Coppernican Arguments
Other people worry that this is sort of just putting human beings back at the center of the universe in some sense to say that rather than being scientists. Is that something we should worry about? No, I don't see it that way at all. It's an observational fact that we're here. And therefore, any successful theory should be compatible with that observation. The fact that we are going to impose on this collection of universes that the conditions need to allow us to be here has nothing to do with putting us back in the center of things.
